He had kept his family close through the challenge, had refused Erion and Isis's requests to go watch. Shake arched though him like a violent fire and for that reason he would not sleek for quite some time, leaning heavily into his wife instead. He knew that howl... His sister was here to claim her 'payment' whatever that had meant. Though he was eternally grateful to her for the cure he couldn't agree with this... And he knew the red woman well enough to know that there would be blood and violent and cursing where she went. He wasn't ready for his kids to be exposed to that just yet... So he would make them wait... Wait until someone claimed victory. And after some time another would call, not Erani... He was glad though... All his issues with this place, all the reasons he had wanted to leave was because of that old woman's incompetence. "Let's go see what this new leader is like at least.... If we don't like what she's selling then we can find a new home, how does that sound?" His voice was soft as he looked to his children then to his wife. If she said no he would follow her anywhere... But after a moment he would stand, pulling himself up and forwards then setting off towards the sound at a leggy walk. His arrival was silent at first, gaze shifting through the crowds. Chrys was here... Would she be staying? Or was she here to observe then choose as well? At first the male would move towards her, his pack mate and once queen, the woman who had gone to war over his first born daughter. He didn't know her well but he respected her. But he would half in his tracks as a blonde pelt would catch his eye, ears immediately snapping to attention. Could it be? He moved swiftly towards the male but he would quell any excitement that might be rising. This wasn't the time for reunions... "Good to see you brother... Do you know this woman?" His words were soft, spoken under his breath as he took a seat beside Cynrik. How long had it been? Years... |
