She hade followed Quelt since the day they had reunited. A bond sparking quickly between them. He was kind, gentle and had save her life when she had the plague. She owed him for saving her but it was not something she didn't mind, she felt at ease and safe next to his much larger frame. And though she'd rather keep her freedom as a rogue, the group of them needed a pack. She had gone a met everyone and with all the pups, a pack was better for them. Sure they could try and do all they could to care for the pups but even Irune knew it was better and safe for them within a pack. Her only regret was having to start from the bottom. She hated pack life for a reason. There was just too much judging for her taste. She hated all those eyes on her judging her for who she was. But who could blame her with how she grew up? In Glaciem she was shown being a healer was far less worthy than a warrior. She had tried to strive and learn to be a warrior while secretly learning from her mother as a healer. She had tried so hard to make her father proud but no matter what she did she hardly ever saw him. So she had requested to leave Glaciem, to find out more about herself, to be herself and free. So her view on pack life was not all that bright. But for the pups and Quelt she would follow. She did not think his sister had any high thoughts about her and at time Irune felt like an outcast. Everyone here in the group was at least related to one person or had known each other for some time. She only had Quelt. As they came to the border she walked by his side and waited at the border with him. As he howled out her voice would join him. To show their unity but in a friendly manner, to voice that there was more than just one of them. No need to have the alpha come thinking it was only one wolf and instead see their large group and be surprised. |
