Quote:She was thankful that Orchid had showed up with herbs, and that little Exodus would eat them up without so much as a complaint. Letting out a soft sigh, she was about to pull the pup away when he stood on his paws, asking about his mother again. Othello flinched, her purple gaze shooting to Orchid. What should she do? She didn't have the heart to tell him that his mother was probably never coming back. She searched the healers face, trying to see if she held all the answers. They needed to do something. At lease he seemed willing to come, but he was dead set on coming back for his mother. Another soft sigh was passed through her lips, leaning down to nuzzle the poor being.
Othello collected herself, looking at Orchid again before she focused on the dark hued pup. "How about if I send a big wolf every day to come here and check for your mom? That way you can stay with me and be safe. This isn't the nicest of places Exodus, but Scorpion is big and tall and its easy for him to step over the prickles. How does that sound?" She asked, her voice threatening to break. It was so sad, and it was tearing her in two. Why couldn't his mom have taken him? There was absolutely nothing wrong with him at all.
The dame gazed around at the thickets, knowing that it might be easier to carry the pup out of here. "Exodus, would you like me to carry you so that you don't hurt yourself?" She asked, fully prepared to carry this poor being to the ends of the earth if she had to. He did nothing to deserve being treated like this.
