Mira lingered, standing in front of a lifeless tree. She pawed at it, curious, and it was smooth beneath her paw - all the bark burned from the fire; only a layer of soot remained and even that was now marred by the red wolf. That red wolf was completely tense - her jaw tight, looking around every moment. She didn't expect anything to happen so soon... but still. Better to be on guard. One moment off guard, and she could die. Or dragged from Alactritia and back to her old pack. Neither option would be a savory ending for her. So her goal was to simply try her hardest to not let that happen. And eventually drive Vendetta from the pack, if Bass would let her. I Bass would listen. She frowned, shaking her head and sighing. But if Vendetta was driven from the pack, then Mira nor the pack could keep an eye on her.
