Unfortunately, Mirabelle had noticed the charcoal colored tom. While he may have blended in with the terrain, the soft tread of his footsteps and his scent did not. And being on high alert from assassinations, she was listening to anything that could possibly exist. So when she heard the male she whirled around, only to see nothing but a faint glimpse of grey pelt. The wolf froze, nose in the air. She could smell him... barely. Couldn't hear anything now, since he had gone completely silent. Still. She stepped forward. "Step away from the tree," she barked harshly, ears pricked in dominance and tail aligned with her tail. ?speech? |
