Xae barely held in an exasperated sigh. He didn't want Harmony to think that he was irritated with her - though a part of him, regretfully, was - or that he was frustrated with their lesson. However, the seemingly continuous interruptions seemed to happen one after another. Xae felt as though his lesson would never be finished, and he'd never learn about every herb, or every injury. His "addiction" to knowledge was proving more and more disadvantageous. He was getting irritable when his need for learning wasn't being met, and his strive for knowledge had already caused him to be late for the pack's hunting exercise. Of course, the russet male didn't consider this; to him, his desire to learn and become educated was a healthy thing, and it would never backfire on him.

Frankly, he didn't care if they forced the black beast off of "her" territory or not. He just wanted to keep up with their lesson. It seemed silly, to him, that they should walk away. But Xae didn't speak his thoughts. He glanced from Harmony to the ebony warrior, then back to his teacher. With only a soft, inaudible sigh, he strode after her, pausing only to pick up the rest of the herbs in his jaws. Quietly, the healer-in-training padded after the chocolate-and-cream female. When he reached where she desired to go, he stopped and dropped his bundle. "Do you require me to repeat the information I explained earlier?" He nosed the yarrow plant, singling it out from the rest of the herbs.
