The meeting had already gotten under way, but Lekan was still determined to attend. With his old queen gone, he had adopted a new one. Viridiana Sovari, the fiery red maiden that had taken some interest in him back when he belonged to Cataleya. Many things had changed at a dizzying pace, but the golden boy had remained mostly unscathed. His mind had taken on a new darkness, however. Now he had a strange appetite for vengeance and blood. Surely his new master wouldn't mind. The submissive boy slipped into the crowd, catching a few of her final words.
