He would arrive with due haste, his young mate due any day now and Sin would not miss out on the chance to see his first set of children born. He carried in his jaws, prey food for his trophy. Arietta would need it, after all. He wanted to make sure she would stay strong and bear healthy children. She was to bear his first heirs, after all...and it would do no good for them to be unhealthy or lame. No, that simply would not do. He trekked across the snow, some of it melting with the arrival of Spring now. Amber gaze would cast about, making sure no threats lurked nearby now that Arietta was vulnerable now more then ever. He would remind himself to give her a good training as soon as she was able, at least so she would know how to defend herself.

Claws would click upon the wooden surface of the barge, nose leading him to her resting place. And soon, he would find her. He approached quietly, laying the prey at her feet as he briefly nuzzled her head and left a short kiss upon her small frame. "Eat, love. You'll need the strength for the day our children decide to come into the world."
