The fae could hear the sounds of buzzards circling before her, their cawing echoing in her lobes as she opened her eyes slightly and soon closed her eyes once more. So, this was how she would die? But, suddenly, the sound of snarling and snapping could be heard and within a couple minutes she was lifted. Her eyes opened when she saw a brute, a couple years older than her, and he was carrying her somewhere.
Within a couple hours she could smell water. When she was dropped to the shade, she was thankful for the cool shade as she saw water land before her in a leaf. Her salmon tongue lapped at the water as she smiled as she quenched her throat and filled her belly with the cool water.
She saw the brute that had saved her and sat beside him, making sure to give him room as her voice was kind and gentle. "Thank you for saving me. My name's Huata; may I ask your name?"
