Her small body swung gently as her mother carried her, and she did not protest the occasional thumps she felt from bouncing against Aislyn's chest. From the moment she was born her mother had been drilling the concept of being beta in her mind. She understood her place and her mothers expectations, and she would do her best to make her proud. The earth felt cold beneath her paws, and she scurried closely toward her mother for warmth. She listened to her, eyes wide. She had already heard this before, but always carefully evaluated her mother's wishes each time. "Yes mama." She replied, her voice a bit shaky. This place was frightening, but mother knew best. She would never put her in danger, and she trusted that.
