She too would materialize from the mists, her form so much more hidden within the white. There was a glimmer of affection in his eyes though he more or less kept his expression one of cocky confidence. There had been an allowance in a lapse of control during the sickness, he had forgiven himself for being so weak, so desperate for aid, but he would not allow it to happen again; if he seemed a bit overly eager to prove himself that was through no fault of his own.
His sister would welcome him, home, and a brief triumphant smile would crease the corners of his mouth before it faded. Home had never been something he had truly clung too, certainly it was the notion that had made him seek refuge in the silver bitch?s pack, but the lands he now stood upon were less about home and more about birthright. The notion of home had always seen like something for the weak, an untouchable goal that made displaced woman weep and that fools fought to their deaths for. Now that it was within his grasp however?
Artemis would brush gently against Novocain?s side and he shifted ever so slightly to press into her as she did. ?Glad to be back.? He spoke evenly, no sign of any of the sentiment he felt.
Please note: Novocaine is missing his right eye entirely, an empty socket is all that remains in its stead. Not all of his tables reflect that as of yet!
