tSilently Australis would continue to observe the unknown wolf before him, still crouched in the same spot and tail curled around his form to prevent it from smacking anything and giving away his position. Almost perfect, he was still unnoticed, just what he wanted. But then his ear would shoot to the side at a sudden, but soft rustling nearby. Without trying to move his body the boy's gaze would drift away from his target, narrowing to try and seek what had almost given away his position. A damn rabbit. He inwardly growled, annoyed. Quickly he'd turn his attention back on the stranger, just in time to see that he too had looked when at the rustling thicket. Did he spot Aus? No, making him smirk the slightest.

The stranger was heading towards the sandy shore, and would soon be out of Australis's line of sight. He had to move. So carefully he would stir, slowly rising but still remaining crouched, snaking his way through the small game paths in the vegetation. A shift in the wind, he could feel it coming from the rear. 'Of course...'' He rolled his eyes with a scoff, tail lashing in irritation. At the same time the stranger had spoken, having caught the scent and calling out his unknown stalker.

Presence now known, he couldn't really continue stalking the stranger. Should he just show himself and see how it goes from there? Maybe he would be able to get something out of the guy, and if not, then they could do something to pass time.

Raising to his full height, and head held high, the boy would push through the vegetation and reveal himself. His demeanor was neutral, not calm and relaxed but also not aggressive or wary. Ears remained forward, ready to catch anything else the male had to say while his gaze trailed along he man's body to determine what kind of threat he would be at all. "If it weren't for the rabbit and wind, I'd still be back there." He'd state matter of fact. His voice was rough, distant but not entirely cold like it usually was.
