What have I gotten myself into?

If there had been much prey in the area Keiki had probably scared it away, not on purpose mind. The poor girl simply wasn?t aware of what sort of ruckus she could stir up. What seemed like happily and daintily padding along was more like noisy goose-stepping for everyone else. Right now the girl was actually pretty quiet. Sitting happily in the sun, head tipped back to let the warmth wash over her face. The girl dropped her head for a moment, icy blues opening to scan the area. An unfamiliar scent was slowly winding its way towards her, carried by a lazy summer breeze. Her gaze landed upon an object that the girl could have sworn was had not been there when she had arrived. A tree stump? Then it moved and Keiki realized the object was actually a wolf. One she hadn?t met before. A childish grin split her face and the girl rose to her paws, tail starting to beat against the air. ?Hey!? She called loudly, all but unaware that the wolf might be trying to move without detection. |
