APPEARANCE

LINK

Shades of muted, steel colored blues cloak this male's form. His fur flows over him in waves, laying long and luxurious and only thinning slightly in the warmer months. His tail is longer than usual, only adding to the regal air around him. Most of his body is covered in a darker color, the fur reaching an almost navy blue hue, though leaning just enough toward the darker gray to be a natural shade. Even the white that strikes places on his body seems to have a faint blue and silver hue to it. This silvery white runs in a stripe from his forehead, all the way down his back, and down the length of his tail. It also dominates his throat, chest, and stomach. The last places this pale silver shows itself is the insides of his ears and in semi-circle markings on the top and bottom of his eyes, framing his startling gaze. A slightly more saturated gray-blue color covers the end of his muzzle. His limbs seem to fade from the dark hue that covers his body into a pale white that covers his paws, a gradient between the two covering each of his legs and his tail. His eyes are a whole different topic in themselves. Born blind, Ren's eyes are a milky pale blue, holding almost a silver hue that covers his entire eye. They are startling to those that aren't expecting it, making his appearance all the more striking. Once he grows to his full height, Emerentus will match his father's height of thirty-seven inches. His stature will always remain slim and lanky, his thick coat making him appear more filled-out than he actually is. Most of his height is made up of his long, slender legs. That is not to say he is not muscled, his muscle will just always tend to be lean and close to his bones.

PERSONALITY

Pup: As a young wolf, Ren struggles to figure out who he is and what he wants from life. He says very little, instead focusing on listening and taking in the world around him through his ears, nose, and sense of touch. Being born blind, his lack of sight never really feels like a hindrance or concern for him, even though it does make him naturally extra cautious. He is not easily swayed, but if given a logical reason to sway one way or the other he will likely follow it. He tries to fit in with other pups, acting playful and play fighting with others when he can even though he really feels no need to socialize with the others. He likes to keep to himself with just a small group of trusted family and friends around him.

Adult: Emerentius is, above all, quiet and composed. Flares of temper and emotion are all but unknown to him as an adult. To those he loves and cares for he will be constantly loyal, following them like a shadow or a ghost, never questioning their intentions unless their actions threaten himself or someone else that his cares for. He will do anything in his power to watch after his family. He tends to stick to the shadows, the absence of light meaning nothing to him with his blindness. He likes to use his heightened hearing and smell to his advantage, tending to creep and spy rather than confront outright. He cares deeply and loves strongly, though he sometimes shows this in strange ways.

RP SAMPLE

Normally sitting still and quiet were hard things for young pups to do, but Ren found it was the easiest if not best thing for him to do. When he was quiet he could hear everything. He heard the branches of the trees above him swaying in the wind, the sounds of his pack mates in the distance, even the sound of one of his siblings lapping up water from a near-by puddle. Scents from all around drifted past him and he analyzed each one, figuring out where everyone around him was based off of their scents and sounds. It was hard, but the more he did it the easier it got. His sensitive ears flicked as his siblings went tumbling through the brush, squealing and yelling and overall just being very loud. Ren sighed, turning his head away from the noise. He just couldn't understand what they found so entertaining about this "fighting" they did all the time.

Suddenly pounding pawsteps came rushing toward him, his head whipping toward the sound and his fluffy fur bristling. Before he could leap out of the way his brother came barreling into him, making him yelp, the two of them tumbling across the ground. Once they finally stopped tumbling and Ren could get his bearings about him again, he frowned and heard his brother laughing. This was fun? Forcing a smile on his own muzzle, Ren rolled back onto his paws and found his brother by sound, leaping toward him till his paws connected with his brother's shoulders. His legs wrapped around his neck, a chuckle in his throat as he playfully tugged at his brother's scruff. They wanted to play? Fine, he would play.
