He was an emotional mess, but that didn't mean he would stray far from her side. He refused to be out of hearing range, or even sight range from the autumnal colored dame, most days. Plain and simple, Valerius didn't want to be away from Emer. He had grown to crave her presence. The warm spring breeze that ruffled his chocolate hued coat felt like heaven. He would speak into the dusk, his tone questioning for her- calling for her. She probably wasn't far from him, he kept close enough that he could hear if she called him, but he also wanted to give her some space.
"Emer?" He questioned into the darkening sky. His cerulean eyes twinkling, as the orange horizon reflected against them. A soft subtle sigh left him, as he waited for her to reply to him, his large body resting against the ground in a lying position. The ground was cool against his belly, and the warm air warmed his back. It was almost perfect.
