Desdemona had wasted no time. There were those who held descrepancies about her leadership, she wasn't stupid, nor blind, she could see hatred and indignation brimming in the eyes of the wolves around her, but Tortuga, under Kaien and Morphine's rule, had had no purpose, no direction. Ranks had been given solely because wolves had bonded and grown close to the two leaders. There had been no test of skill or honor. If the betas wished for their ranks rightly returned, they would earn them. They would prove themselves worthy of the title. No one deserved a free run. No matter how her people viewed this, she would not budge. Tortuga needed to be strengthened internally. There needed to be a set system. If those that joined had no hope at improving their stature, becoming someone of importance... why join? Tortuga's numbers had declined rapidly, even the betrayal of Cyanide whom had been with the pack, at least she had been told, since its very creation. She had served Nnoitra without fail, it was Kaien and Morphine whom she had doubted and rightfully so.

She had, at one point, had respect for her leaders. Kaien still held a touch of her respect, she regretted his death, but understood his desire for a restful, eternal slumber. Morphine, she had considered keeping as her second, she had been well liked by the people, she had her own devious ways, and she was a formidable ally, but the woman had come at her with the intent to kill right from the beginning. The bitch had only proven that she cared for Tortuga as little as she cared for the grass beneath her pads. She cared only for the position of power, only for the right to call herself a Queen. She would have none of Desdemona and the ivory fae could not risk such a loose cannon amongst Tortuga's numbers. She would give Desdemona no quarter and Desdemona had shown her no mercy. She did not regret banishing Morphine.

"From what I understand you were already well on your way to making an alliance with Amenti. tell me what you know, I imagine much will change once we arrive, but this alliance is important, it would be nice to have some background knowledge." Her tones were crystal, flat but respectful. As soon as Morphine had snapped, Nnoitra and how well he was liked by his people entered her head. The moment he had Morphine had been dismissed from her brain, she felt foolish for ever considering Morphine over Nnoitra. Together they could make a formidable team, his intelligence, her brawn. She wasn't above asking for his knowledge, especially when it came to something as important as this, even if the pack did rebel and she was exiled... at least she could leave knowing she had tried to make peace.

They reached the borders of Amenti swiftly and without hesitation, Desdemona craned her head back, calling for the Queen. Patiently, she would fall back onto her haunches, tail curling absently around her.

(((OOC: Please let Shrap post with Nnoitra and then the floor is all yours Dark! <3)))
