Serra would move almost lethargically when the call came, in no particular rush to answer her Azat's summons. She would answer, of course, and answer on time, but what was the point in being early? It would only waste her time with pleasantries that she was not sure she felt like exchanging at that moment. Hey, a girl was allowed to have an antisocial day or two. And with thoughts of Newol on her brain, Serra Arrow found herself content to spend time with only her thoughts for company. At the moment, they were moving quickly enough that she doubted she would be able to keep up another conversation.
Her legs carried her smoothly across the ground, and even with Serra moving on autopilot she reached the gathering of wolves before much time had passed. Automatically, the wolfess settled down beside her brother, flashing him a swift smile. In the aftermath of the challenge for Irune - which had Serra had heard about, despite not being present for - she felt a strange sense of pity for him. He had always been the stronger one of the two, but to lose someone that one cared for so strongly could not be easy. Serra could only compare it to losing him and that had driven her all but crazy.
Save for the smile, however, Serra focused her attention on Bass, waiting patiently to see what the male would say. Her questions about Quelt's current state would have to wait until later - now was not the time or the place for such things.
