Downhill with no brakes
There was no sense in waiting any longer. She had gone unrivaled in her claiming of these lands. She now once again stood on a throne, her dark crown seated metaphorically on her head. She stood in the center of her new home. The moor would be her main gathering area and where she would be found most often. She had begrudgingly agreed to keep the plains for Kylar. His strange fascination with the land was beyond her. But whatever, he could keep the plains, she had her misty moor to fill her needs.
Tipping her head back, her call would echo off the lands, summoning those who had arrived before to come again. They would be staying in this land, but they all needed to know her laws and the ranks that they would fill. Haunches would recline to the soft earth as she settled into wait. Eyes would flutter closed as she reveled in the new found power that coursed through her veins. Things would be different this time. She would be rise from the ashes and create a pack that would be a force to be reckoned with. |
