Downhill with no brakes

Shortly after her mother claimed these lands, she would call for all who wished to join her. It took Senka mere moments to stretch lethargically and set off in search of the woman. There had never been any question in Senka's mind that she would join her mother's pack; Cataleya was the one thing that Senka felt true loyalty to. Even that was not particularly strong, but it was enough that she listened to her instinct and set off towards her mother. The queen of Arcanum would once more have a throne, and though Cataleya had left, Senka held no ill will towards the other. After all, Senka had left too. But she had come back and so had Cataleya, so it balanced out, in the end.

By the time Senka arrived, only one other had appeared. Not exactly a huge audience, but Senka suspected that Cataleya would be content with those who showed. More would come in time - perhaps even Valentine would show his face, though Senka wasn't certain of that. Valentine had the kind of emotions that Senka could not even pretend to understand. The apathetic creature simply couldn't comprehend all of the emotions that ran wild in those around her. Still, her chameleon-like nature enabled her to blend in well enough, she supposed.

Unlike the other, Senka remained silent, inclining her head towards her mother but otherwise she stayed aloof. Easily, the wolfess settled back on her haunches, tail wrapping around her paws and her ears pricking towards the one that had called for them.
