The events of the past hour or so were beginning to way down on Song, he could feel it in her body as it began to relax against hers, her breathing becoming more steady in even, the slackness in her muscles giving away as much. Cherokee himself was beginning to feel the first pulls of exhaustion, his muscles suddenly feeling like dead weights. Had he really done that much to merit exhaustion? He supposed he had. Not that he minded in anyway. If he got to spend time with Song, then he would do everything and anything with her, even if it left him dead tired at the end of the day.

The thumping of her tail against the den floor slowed as her state of awareness slowly shortened. Seems like their play session and her meeting with the water had really taken it out of her. Just when he thought she'd finally succumbed to her exhaustion, her tail begin to beat rapidly again and he could feel her shift on top of him. His visage came into from the corner of his eye and he lifted his massive head, ivory jade and steel gems locking into her own dual-toned gems. A half smile curled his lips at her response. She said yes. They were going to spend the day tomorrow. Had he not been tired he would've howled his excitement. But since he couldn't, he settled for his own wagging of his tail, fa?ade demonstrating nothing but excitement.

Now he had something to look forward to the next morning. But before he give her any kind of response he felt a brush against his cheek. He turned to look at Song, but she had already returned to her spot ontop of his neck. He lied his head down on her paws again, snuggling even closer to her. She'd kissed. She had just kissed him. Cherokee's heart leapt into his throat. Was it possible that she too was feeling something? And then came her voice, bidding her good night. Sweet dreams miss Song. He rumbled quietly, allowing his eyes to fall closed as his exhaustion overtook him, dragging him into the land of dreams.
