The male was quite calm in taking the news that he'd taken her childhood home, if looking a little sad about it. He let out a sigh, and she did the same, plopping her little black rump onto the ash strewn ground. He assured her he wasn't aware they had taken her home, and she shrugged her narrow shoulders nonchalantly. "Not much anyone can do 'bout it now, just gotta move on I guess.." She muttered, catching the flick of his tail in the corner of her eye. She noticed his ebony leg, the same one as her own red socked limb, and felt like she knew this stranger a little better despite having learned nothing new. Her acidic pools turned up to the cobalt male's face, and she offered a sad smile. He mentioned something about a promise, and she became quite intrigued to hear what he was going to promise her. Not going to steal anyone's home? That was good, because with the way things had it, he'd probably end up stealing her home. He asked after her family, and whether or not they'd been separated. She sighed, giving a small nod of her head. "I was late getting back from the big festival at Ebony, and when I got home there was this pack, called Secretua. I met a big male named Rune, but he wasn't as big as you, and he offered to send a guide with me, but I didn't really want a stranger followin' me around so I said no and now here I am!" She told him, her voice suddenly picking up at the end as she yipped out the final part. Her triple pigmented banner thumped against the ground to illustrate the end of her little story. Sure, the male had seemed worried, but her family were nomads and once upon a time part of a clan of warriors and Vikings. They could handle themselves, and even though she was a tiny slip of a girl, she knew what she was doing out there in the big wide world.

Quelt announced that he was happy to have met her, and the now somewhat cheered up youngster beamed at him. She loved meeting new people, even though she could be a little awkward, or moody. The ebony masked behemoth mused that maybe she could help him with his own family problems. Well, if she could deal with her ridiculous family, surely someone else's would be a cake walk. He explained that he had adopted a bunch of pups, and that they were having some trust issues. Well, probably. "Well, I guess you just gotta let them learn to trust you. It might take a million billion years, but eventually they'll know they can trust you." She explained, her lone rust paw waving back and forth as she spoke. She'd taken to using gestures while she spoke, especially when she was explaining, because visual aids made everything better. "My uncle Thor, and my Uncle Baldur went back home with my uncle Skoll, and they brought back my aunts, Bera, and Arnporr, and Dyani, and my uncle Ullr, and my cousin Eostre. They're all younger than me, except for Dyani and Ullr. They had a lot of trouble trusting uncle Thor and Uncle Baldur for a long time." She continued, her story having no real point behind it, she just liked talking to wolves who would listen, and she was liking Quelt a lot more than she had a few moments ago. "I don't think Dyani will ever trust anyone, except for Ullr. She's always following him around and making sure he's okay..." She murmured, simply a little comment on the relationships amid her immense family. One could never tire of her interesting relatives.

OOC: Man that took me forever! Thanks for the lovely table!!
