Madness or just Vision?

At least Haruka would settle beside him, giving him the comfort and grace of her presence. He had always envied how sure she was with her decisions, her word. While Ritsuka gave off that appearance, he would question himself, his actions, and what he was truly doing to go forward. He could feel her shivers next to him, and Suka would gently press into her, trying to comfort both her and himself with the touch. It was his turn now to listen to her. His dearest sister would explain how she left, how her paws lead her elsewhere as the call of her heart pulled her on to a new pack.
Bevroren. He would keep his gaze on hers. He was hurt that she had left and joined another pack without telling him, yet at the same time glad. She had made a name for herself, promising she was safe and protected. But the pack she was in needed help, torn apart by a man who should have supported his daughter?s very rule. Feelings would mix as he debated what to do, a sigh leaving his maw. It was not as if he was part of a pack any longer... What did he have to lose?
But he would wait, wait for Haruka?s words and confirmation that their siblings were safe. The damned male that stole their lives, and their mother, ruled her. The pups she bore, so long as she stayed loyal, would be safe. Was that out of his paws? His place was in Alacritia now, wasn?t it? Staying near Haruka... As was their destiny to stay intertwined. A brother and sister, Legendary and Epic, making their names and existences known in this world. She would give a promise though, one that he had truly needed to here. Ritsuka would breathe a sigh of relief, closing his eyes as he continued to lightly rest against her.
?Maybe the problem lies not in the past... But our separation...? Ritsuka would muse quietly. ?...and the fear of losing you... The fear of losing our bond forever. In separate packs divided... I thought... I thought Tortuga was my home... But... So much has changed since my journey here, Epic.? He would keep speaking, his voice soft. ?Tortuga... Was not what I believed it to be. I kept lying to myself... Believing that I could make it a home... But it took my own friends being honest with themselves and others for me to dare open up my eyes. It was no home... And their Queen didn?t trust us in the slightest... My friends... The ones who had stuck by me since our joining day. We all knew it wasn?t home.?
Ritsuka would open his orbs again, looking back to his sister. How their coats clashed, were so different, but they were kin. Never was there that doubt. ?If Bevroren is where you have gone than that is my destination, Epic. Whether it is my longing for you or something deeper that causes these nightmares and horrors to plague me I know one thing; they will never be remedied by us remaining apart.?
