She?d cry out again and again as the pain ran through her while her body expelled the whelps within her. She?d find herself unintentionally pushing into Dhiren?s side, his form an odd comfort to her plagued mind. Weakly she?d realize that the first pup had been born, her tiny voice rising up to greet her. As Song nuzzled her towards her belly the she would find the strength to greet the tiny creature. Her nose would bump her affectionately before she was overcome by pain again. Her second child would be born, but this time she wouldn?t hear the classic cries. This child was dead.
Guinevere would suppress this knowledge as best she could as the realization of her tasks completion would bring relief. She?d move her features again, waking in the beautiful child that she?d been given. Still unsure what to think as Dhiren nudged her form. She?d groan as her body was again brought to the air against its will. She?d whimper slightly as she slipped, caught by the white alphess who had her daughter in her jaws already. She?d try to keep her eyes averted from Dhiren?s gaze and she would follow complacently.
