Athena had been waiting for this day with anticipation, nervousness, and just a touch of uncertainty. She still wasn't entirely convinced that getting married at just a year old was a good idea, but Vereux had been so excited that she couldn't tell him no. She just kept reminding herself of how much she loved him and the wise words that Dhirin had told her when they had spoken a few weeks ago. When Devin's howl reached her ears she rose to her paws and took in a deep breath to calm herself. Shaking out her silver coat so it laid neatly along her body and glancing down at the golden bracelets around her legs to make sure that they were free of any dirt, she decided she was finally ready and trotted off to find Devin and the others that might have come to see the permanent joining of her and her brother.

When she arrived she was surprised by how many had already arrived. She didn't think that it had taken her long to get here, but she had been a fair distance from where Devin had chosen to call the ceremony. She padded over to the healer first, telling him softly, "Thank you for doing this," knowing that this sort of thing wasn't exactly his cup of tea. Turning her gaze toward those gathered, she was happy to see that Haruka and Talvi were both present. The third woman surprised her, but it was easy to remember who she was, even if it had been almost a whole season since she had seen her last. She went over to Talvi, giving her closest half-sister a smile before glancing to Pandora. "Pandora, this is a surprise. I'm glad you came. We'll have to catch up later." Her gaze found Kyung's dark form in the trees, glad to see that he had shown up but curious as to why he didn't come forward to join the crowd. Going over to where Haruka sat, Athena chuckled at the flowers that were in her jaws. "Those are lovely."

Once she had greeted everyone that had arrived, she went back to Devin, taking her place to his right with a sigh, settling on her haunches. There was a whole list of wolves that she wished was here, but she knew all too well how few of those wolves would actually appear. Most of the wolves the missed hadn't been seen in months anyway, why would they suddenly reappear for her wedding? She curled her tail around her haunches to wait for her groom to arrive, trying her best to settle her nerves as she did it.
