He really had no business in being here. His duty was to his pack, to his mother and family, and venturing off as he was presently doing was not going to be doing anything to help them. But in his mind, it could have. For quite a while he had missed the presence of the red young lady that he had assumed to have been some sort of emissary for the divine power that his mother believe looked over them, and he had been fearing more and more recently that somehow he had fallen out of favor. So far nothing too terrible had come of it - despite the split up and renaming of Ludicael things were still relatively normal - but Requiem feared trouble brewing ahead either for himself or the pack as a whole if those perceived lines of favor were not restored.
So while he should have been inside the pack lands, hunting or training in some manner, he was here instead, walking about with his teal-green gaze searching about for any sign of the red wolf that he had assumed to have been his personal connection to the power above. After stopping at the border of the lands they had last met within he had realized the lands were now claimed and had not dared to risk trespassing, especially being conscious of what sorts of repercussions that might bring down upon his family. He had continued past with a new sort of desperation, worrying the longer and farther he went.
By the time his paws hit the unappealing, boggy Swamplands he was beginning to fear the worst. Could he possibly have done something without knowing that had upset the divine power and caused the emissaries to avoid him? Were they possibly just too busy conducting their work to pay him another visit? His ears shifted backward to rest warily against his head as he paused, glancing about nervously. He should head back, but...maybe just a little further? Deciding to keep going, the unsuspecting yearling continued to pad about, trying to avoid the worst areas in his search for a connection to the power he believed in.
