What a Familiar sound

Irune would share with him her worries, his heart would ache but would also flutter a little. Of course he did everything for her, he loved her. He wasn't the kind of man to just leave her in the dust and leave, never had he ever loved another so much that wasn't his siblings. Things just kind of happened as the gods threw it in his face. Of course after all he had been through, he would never give up on her for the world. And he was glad to hear her plights even if he felt bad himself that he could indeed not relate, and he could not say that he understood. After all, he had left his parents by choice, and he had no clue in these moments if they were dead or alive himself.
Quelt would shut his eyes for a moment, covering her head with the bottom of his muzzle. He would nuzzle her gently. Perhaps he had not spoken about his religion much to Irune but it was at times like these when he really turned towards it. "I don't think you failed your mother, sometimes, the gods put things in our path that is out of our control. If your mother is anything like yourself, I am certain the Goddess Itsume welcomed her with open arms and is watching you with a smile right now because you are living true to yourself." he would pause for a moment thinking about Irune's father. "Any lose of anyone is always sad no matter who they are. I admired Isardis, in my religion, that I really didn't tell you about, the world is made up of all different kinds of people. As long as we follow our hearts there is sure to be something at the end of the tunnel. I cannot say that I know how you feel, I left my parents, both of them, by choice and never looked back. But I can say that the only one you need to prove yourself to, is yourself. What I'm saying may not make any sense....this is the best I can do to try and make you feel better but, as long as you are yourself. Then whatever the world throws at you, gods will help you over-come it. I know I'm not much of a help, I can't lie that I've lived a sheltered life until I even came here to alacritis. I've lost few things, two friends, but that is all that I have experienced." he shifted a little.
Maybe what he was saying made no sense, it made him sigh. "I'm sorry, I probably rambled on about nothing and completely off topic....and of course I didn't give up on you Irune. I LOVE you, and I always will. I want you to feel comfortable, and I want to protect you, I want to help you get where you want to be, you are a perfect queen in my world. And once you are of age, I want to marry you Irune Armada. If you are willing to take the walker last name within your midst." His black tail thumped. He must of been an idiot. Zakuro kill him now, the god probably was laughing so hard right now.
