SYRINX v ISARDIS for DEATH ROUND ONE
SYRINX --- clarity -- 8 out of 10 ; ?his right limb would lift off of the ground and move forward in an attempt to wrap around isardis? left ankle?? which right limb of syrinx?s is aiming to wrap around which left ankle of isardis?? there are two left limbs and two right limbs, after all (-2). powerplay -- 8 out of 10 ; ?he was approaching isardis head on?? that should have been an intention, as isardis could easily move to create an angle between their bodies (-2). defenses -- 10 out of 10 ; head lowered, ears pinned, eyes narrowed, limbs bent, weight evenly distributed, stance squared, tail out, jaws parted, shoulders rolled, chin tucked, hackles raised, toes flexed. attack -- 9 out of 10 ; attack to isar?s face (+4, point added for maim attempt), left shoulder to center of isar?s chest (+3), attempt to wrap his right limb around isar?s left ankle (+2, point subtracted for clarity issue). injuries -- 10 out of 10 ; first round. round one syrinx total --- 45 out of 50 ISARDIS --- clarity -- 8 out of 10 ; in which direction does isardis wrench his skull to remove syr?s teeth from his forehead? (-1) ?for a horrifying moment the sovereign?s weight begins to tilt?? tilt in what direction? (-1) powerplay -- 5 out of 10 ; syr?s attempt to bite isar?s face and his shoulder-thrust was meant to occur at the same time {refer to syr?s post and the use of ?simultaneously?}; however, isardis responds to these attacks as if they are timed one after the other. he first sidesteps to his own left to avoid the brunt of syr?s jaw attack, and then pivots and steps further to his left and forwards to respond to the shoulder attack, when in reality he would not have had time to continue stepping and pivoting since these attacks occurred in the same time frame (-2). this post also consisted of a lot of movement -- you have isardis making an attack and retracting from that attack multiple times throughout the post, without granting syrinx an opportunity to respond (-3). defenses -- 10 out of 10 ; shoulders rolled, chin tucked, hackles raised, tail out, head lowered, abdomen tensed, eyes narrowed, stance squared, weight distributed, limbs bent, ears pinned, teeth exposed, jaws gaping. attack -- 10 out of 10 ; attempting to clamp down upon syr?s upper left-sided neck, seeking the jugular (+4, point added for maim attempt). attempting to drive his left shoulder into syr?s left shoulder socket, aiming for dislocation (+3). attempting to crush syr?s left front toes (+3). injuries -- 10 out of 10 ; first round -- shallow lacerations to forehead, pending damage from syrinx?s shoulder. round one isardis total --- 43 out of 50 ROUND TWO
SYRINX --- clarity -- 0 out of 10 ; why did isar?s left shoulder not strike its intended target? syr made no movement to prevent it from occurring (-2). ?using the muscles of his rear legs he would attempt to hoist the limb up and wrap it around isar?s neck or at least throw the left limb over isar?s right?? which left limb? again, there are two (-1). what side of isar?s neck is he attempting to throw his limb around and where about on the neck? and what do you mean by ?isar?s right?? (-3) ?his head would turn sharply to the left?? whose left? (-1) ?his top set would attempt to snap beside isardis? right ear and his bottom beside isar?s left.? on what side of the ears? saying ?beside? the ears could mean either side of the ears (-2). ?he would torque his own body to the left?? whose left? (-1) failure to mention how torquing his body to the left would cause isar to lose his balance (-2). powerplay -- 4 out of 10 ; ?still head on with isardis?? isardis positioned himself at a slight angle to syr?s right, and syr made no attempt to stop him from creating this angle (-1). ?syrinx would release the grip he had taken on isardis? left ankle?? isardis had made an attempt to lock onto syr?s right ankle to prevent him from easy release, and yet, the motion is completely disregarded in your post (-3). minor conditional: syrinx?s success at throwing isar off balance depends upon if he is successful in placing his forelimbs anywhere on isar (-2). defenses -- 10 out of 10 ; ears pinned, jaws gaping, eyes narrowed, paws firmly gripping the ground, tail out, weight evenly distributed, squared stance, chin tucked, shoulders rolled, head lowered. attack -- 4 out of 10 ; attempting to tear both of isar?s ears (+2, point subtracted for clarity issue). attempting to throw his body to the left in order to upset isar?s balance (+2, point subtracted for clarity issue). injuries -- 4 out of 10 ; dislocated left shoulder (-4), moderate lacerations to left-sided neck (-2) round two syrinx total --- 22 out of 50 ISARDIS --- clarity -- 8 out of 10 ; ?...take a single, moderately distanced rightwards step?? whose right? (-1) ?...send his gaping jaws forwards, downwards and slightly right?? again, whose right? (-1) powerplay -- 7 out of 10 ; as with the previous round, your post again consists of quite a lot of movement. you have isar angling himself to syr?s left, stepping backwards, charging forwards to strike syr?s right shoulder with his own, and retracting from that attack before attempting to bite the area behind syr?s right elbow (-3). defenses -- 10 out of 10 ; shoulders rolled, chin tucked, ears pinned, eyes narrowed, nails gripping, limbs bent to lower center of gravity, hackles raised, tail out, squared stance, abdomen tensed, jaws gaping, toes splayed. attack -- 6 out of 10 ; attempt to drive his right shoulder into syr?s right armpit to potentially cause dislocation/difficulty moving his right forelimb (+3). attempting to bite into the tender flesh behind syr?s right elbow to cause difficulty moving his right forelimb (+3). injuries -- 6 out of 10 ; minor bruising to left shoulder (-1), torn left ear, shallow laceration behind right ear (-3). round two isardis total --- 37 out of 50 ROUND THREE
SYRINX --- clarity -- 0 out of 10 ; ?he could feel the force of isardis pressing against him?? against where? (-2) ?steps would be taken to find some sort of balance?? steps where? and how would that help him secure his balance? (-2) ?however, isardis would push against syrinx?s right side?? where upon the right side, and how much damage occurred because of it? (-4) ?...isardis? teeth only grabbed the edge of the flesh near his elbow?? which elbow? and where exactly is the flesh ?near his elbow?? (-2) ?...would attempt to thrust his right shoulder slightly towards his own left in an attempt to smash it into isardis? face?? where upon isardis? face? (-2) in which direction does syrinx fall? (-1) where upon isar?s neck does syr aim to bite? (-3) powerplay -- 6 out of 10 ; there was no mention made of isar?s attack to syr?s right armpit area. you acknowledge that isar struck his ?right side,? yet there is no mention made of where upon the right side and why isar was unsuccessful in striking syr in the armpit as intended. there was also no mention of how much damage isar did by impacting syr during this attack (-4). defenses -- 10 out of 10 ; shoulders rolled, grounded limbs evenly spaced, toes splayed, limbs bent, chin tucked, jaws gaping, eyes narrowed, spine aligned, muscles tensed, ears pinned. attack -- 3 out of 10 ; attempt to throw his right shoulder into isar?s face as he falls (+2, point subtracted for clarity issue), attempt to bite into isar?s neck (+1, points subtracted for clarity issues). injuries -- 5 out of 10 ; deep cut to area near right elbow (-3), moderate bruising to right armpit (-2, judge?s deduction). round three syrinx total --- 24 out of 50 ISARDIS --- clarity -- 2 out of 10 ; ?syrinx?s right shoulder weaves inwards and towards his own left side chest?? syrinx actually aimed for isar?s face, not his chest (-2). from where upon syrinx does isar intend to align himself perpendicularly to? (-2) what damage does syrinx?s jaws inflict upon isardis? you mention that the bite wasn?t as rewarding as syrinx had hoped, though still, it is left unknown as to how much damage he inflicted (-2). ?...drop his weight faintly forwards and rightwards?? whose right? (-1) where upon the base of syr?s neck does isar intend to strike with his right elbow? the middle, right side, left side? (-1) powerplay -- 10 out of 10 ; nothing of note. defenses -- 10 out of 10 ; lowered skull, rolled shoulders, weight evenly distributed, toes splayed, nails gripping, abdomen tensed, limbs bent to lower center of gravity, eyes narrowed, ears pinned, tail out, jaws gaping. attack -- 6 out of 10 ; attempt to crush syr?s windpipe with his right elbow (+2, point subtracted for clarity issue), attempting to open syr?s chest to expose the ribcage (+4, point added for maim attempt) injuries -- 8 out of 10 ; moderate bite wound just bove his right-sided collar (-2, judge?s deduction). round three isardis total --- 36 out of 50 Totals:
syrinx --- 91 out of 150 isardis --- 116 out of 150 And the winner is...
isardis!please wait for the second judge (whoever that is, idek) to decide upon a winner before any further posts are made between isar and syr. Damage:
irrelevant at this point. if isar wins, his left ear will be permanently torn. Notes:
honestly, this fight was really confusing to read through. there were quite a few clarity issues and i was a bit nitpicky about some of them but hey, it's a dm so. yeah. also sorry for posting this apart from the second judging, i've just tried to get a hold of muse for awhile and she never responded so i'm just posting it now 'cause i feel so bad about the wait.
