I'll be TWISTED its my turn!

Arisu wouldn't move, even as the phoenix woman pinned her in place. There was no movement, no resistance, only acceptance of defeat. This woman could not understand... and though Hestia might have sparked such, but uttering words, they were simply words. This woman had maimed her sister for speech, not action, and that that greatly pissed her off. But no, Arisu would hold that rage, hold that bitterness. It was action that was threat, not words. To maim her sister for that alone... was the act of a monster. But she accepted her own fate, her own maim, for stepping in without knowing all that went on. But still, she regretted not in trying to fight. Loss was part of living. A path of learning. Perhaps, she realized, in a moment of revelation, she might have acted too soon when her mother spoke too. Perhaps she would need to seek her... remedy that wrong.

That which came after was pain. Jaws would close around her tongue, stealing it from her mouth. She would be held there, and though she winced with pain, Arisu refused to cry out. To give the woman satisfaction in knowing the extent of her pain. The organ that was once in her mouth was dropped next to it. She would then roll, rising to her paws, but she would not cower. She would not leave with her tail between her legs. Acidic orbs would seek that of the phoenix woman, shining with acknowledgement and much, much more. She had lost, but she was not broken. With blood falling from her mouth she turned away, waling with her tail at it's usual place. She lived to fight another day.
