He didn't really care if she followed or not and he half expected her to just stay there on the slope, cursing as much as she wanted. He'd love to sit around and just yell about how this was so wonderful but nope, he had his tail to worry about. A faint smirk would come to his maw as he listened to her protests. He wiped it off as he heard the echoing splash. Coming or not, they both had to search for shelter, any sort of cave on the coastline would do. The female had the same idea as him, heading for land. Struggling as he padded to the shore, he pelted across the cold ground, anxious ember optics searching for a cave amongst the slope. In an instant, his eyes met a den-sized cave, big enough to fit himself...and the girl. "There's shelter!" He would yell out as the winds grew dangerously stronger and louder. Without wasting any precious moments, he found himself in the cave, waiting for the dame to join him. If she could reach him.
