He wasn?t sure that he?d ever feel comfortable with his children roaming the world on their own, they were so vulnerable and knew not the harsh realities of the world. The dark wolf would do his best to watch out for them, teach them and care for them but he had doubts that he?d feel like he?d ever ready them as fully as he wished. However, he would do his best to prepare them. Today it seemed like one of those lessons would be administered. Though maybe a little too late for Aslan?s taste buds. He?d take the affectionate gesture from Aslan as his ears perked forward at his question. He?d chuckle once more, finding that the entertainment of the situation would outweigh his worries for now. "I suppose you could just say that. It?s salt though." He?d also learned this from his mother, much in the same fashion as his son now. "When sea water dries up there?s a crystal left over, that?s what gives it such an.. unpleasant taste." He?d smile again, hopeful that his explanation was acceptable.
