Its just a Feeling

He?d feel her stir beside him as wakefulness took her and drew her from the den that they shared. He was very much aware that her season had returned, they?d been together for almost a year now and he still felt as caught up in her as the day they?d met. Curious what she was doing the tall brute would push himself from the den?s floor and follow her out into the dreary weather. She?d seemed so down recently, ever since she?d learned of his promiscuous tendencies. He was worried for her, and though he?d not pledged her his body she had a very tight grasp on his withered heart. As well he knew the missing children were hurting her heart, and he wondered if there would ever be anything he could do to bring her spirits up. Would the position of queen brighten her dark mood? He?d follow behind her and bright yellow eyes would watch as she slowed and shivered before a lake. He?d sigh heavily as he came up behind her, his nose would gently touch her shoulders, the cold of her skin alarming him. He didn?t know how she would react to his touch, but he knew he wanted to comfort her. To do anything to see her smile again. He?d surround her, his chest sliding up over her shoulders his nose nuzzling between her ears softly. ?Othello, what are you doing?? he?d whisper into her pale ears. |
