Walk | Talk | Think

The prettiness of her surroundings continued to hold her gaze while her thoughts continued to distract her from truly seeing what was before her, her inattention even going so far as to dull her sense of hearing as well. There was only the constant babble of the water as it rolled along its well-worn path, so gentle and soothing that it was practically inaudible but it did its part to help mask the approach of the younger pup who came forward to greet the deep grey girl who remained lost amid her own thoughts.

It was that strange feeling you get across the back of your neck when someone is staring at you that finally alerted her to the fact there was someone near, and sensing those orange eyes of the youth on her Vaishya slowly shifted her gaze and then turned her head to regard the boy with a blank, wide-eyed stare. His friendly greeting went unanswered at first as surprise seemed to take hold of the girl unexpectedly. She did not know who this boy was, was still far too new t Olympus to recognize him by appearance alone. Whose son was he?

Not wanting to appear entirely rude - she wanted to help her mother make a good impression on these wolves for the long run - she pushed herself upright and sat where once she had crouched, eying the boy with a openly curious stare. "Hi," she answered, her tone a bit unsure though not at all unfriendly. At least he seemed like the agreeable sort. She hoped that would help her get a conversation going. "You're one of the Olympus kids, aren't you?" She could not identify who exactly his parents were, but his peculiar name seemed to fit in with those that she had heard so far. She only hoped after the fact he understood that she meant one of the blood relatives and not simply a fellow pack member, though he was that too.
