Souls ascend to the sky

She could freeze at the top of this hill if she wasn't careful. That's how she felt at least, the outside weather was fine, the skies finally clearing their path from the hurricane. Arian was standing on the range with the silent hope one of her siblings would be here. Tragically Arian now had a large scar across the left side of her face near her eye patch, as well as her back left leg being permanently maimed and she couldn't run. She lowered her head as she felt the wind travel through her fur.
She walked forward, limping as she had gotten used to doing. Slower than she had been but she was still a healer and that didn't matter much. Her blue eyes held a certain sadness in them though, far different from what had been there before of happiness. It seemed like her positive end of life had been far left behind. The one that led her siblings on adventures during the night. All of them, and somehow she felt pain in her heart knowing she might not see them. After all, her father and mother had vanished.
