Soliloquy was in some ways a rather simple man. He had no real sentiment to him, there were people very important in his life of course though places like this orchard held no such importance and never would. He saw the beauty of the female form though saw nothing in the lands around him, just trees so laden with fruit that some had already been cast aside to the floor to lighten the heavy branches. Some lands were certainly more scenic, nicer to be in than others though never did he look upon the world itself with that adoring gaze that Isolde now held for the trees around them.
He would however pretend rather well. Though he by no means had Scorpion's way with words there was no doubt that he was getting better than the awkward yearling that had appeared in Alacritia nearly a year ago. Isolde here stood before him a rather final example of his growth in his opinion, she was his after all.
"I would have happily stopped at any point." He declared simply, a fact that had probably been made painfully obvious their entire journey here. He still couldn't help but wonder why the orchard of all places, at least it hadn't been as far as some lands however. "Yes." He would agree quietly, offering no further insight to her words as he made an effort to glance around once more for her. Yellow eyes would soon settle upon her form however, his gaze resting there as he spoke once more; "A far nicer view here though."
