Love Will Find A Way

The form of his beloved appeared earlier than he had anticipated. Nevertheless, he was excited to see her small, white frame arrive. Love that hadn't been expressed in a good while shined in his eyes as he quickly lowered the pine branch to nuzzle her in turn. He noticed the invisible stress that seemingly weighed upon her shoulders. Words about it didn't come, but others did.
"Song..." he softly cooed, large muzzle meeting her ivory neck with his eyes closed. A tender smile broke out across his lips, encouraging him to nuzzle her more. He ran the top of his cranium across the back of her neck before pulling back to look at her. "Welcome home..." he greeted, rising his head up and over to look at the cleaner scene in front of them. "I hope it's all right. You caught me in the middle of doing some handiwork..."
