It had been early morning when she had left the den that her and Scorpion called home. The children were fine, but she was not. Many thoughts were swirling in her mind as she aimlessly walked, a soft rain causing her white coat to become slightly damp. The landscape around her was bathed in fog, the low hanging cloud pressing against her. Othello's elongated tail dragged behind her, her purple eyes wary as she walked on. She had no idea where Mercy and Revenge were, her poor babies were only a season away from being a year old and yet... they were no where to be found. Her heart broke for them, and she longed to pull her family back together. But the one wolf that she thought could change everything was also pulling at her heartstrings. The dame wasn't daft, she knew that he was sleeping around as often as he wanted. She loved him... why was it so hard for him to just be with her? She knew that she deserved better, and it made her heart ache for Crucifix. She had heard that he found someone else though, and that they had pups on the way. Sighing softly, she knew that that chapter had long been done. But there was just something missing... that feeling of unrequited love. What had she done to be tossed through this again and again? This season made her 6 years old, her children were missing and her lover was sleeping around. Well wasn't her life just a piece of cake...

Othello paused, looking around to see where she had wandered off to. A large lake expanded before her, although the fog clouded most of her vision. Squinting she carefully walked towards the lake, not stopping until the cold waters lapped at her paws. A chill was sent down her spine, but she didn't care. It was better feeling something than being stuck in this depressed state. She honestly didn't know what to do anymore, and had half the mind to find her babies and just take off. Letting out another sigh she sat her rump at the waters edge, knowing this would probably make her catch a cold. She knew that she couldn't just walk away from Scorpion, but oh how she wished it could be that simple. Everything was getting too complicated, and it wasn't like Othello was a spring chicken. She was starting to feel her age, although it wasn't effecting her body just yet it sure was waring on her mind. Eyes looked upwards, it was about noon now and the fog was beginning to burn off. Those vibrate purple eyes slid shut, the tip of her tail dragging into the waters. Why couldn't life just be simple? What had she done to deserve this sad story?
