Its just a Feeling

Quote:The soft touch started her, causing her form to jump forward and almost launching her into the lake. Hackles bristled until his scent surrounded him, soon enough his body following in suit. He wrapped around her, bringing warmth to her cold body. For a long while she didn't answer him, just kept looking up as his head settled between her ears. The weight of his skull forced her to bring her own head to a level position, the strain too much on her tired neck. "Thinkin'" She said finally, her voice a mere whisper. Her heat made her melt into his touch, and she scoffed at her body for betraying her mind. She wasn't in the mood for that, and wondered if Scorpion would even be able to hold himself back. She snorted at the thought, a sigh bringing the both of them up and down. Othello honestly didn't know what to say to him, nor did she know what to confess. So many thoughts clouded her mind and her soul, she had been walking around with a storm cloud above her head for months now. She just couldn't shake it this time, not even her bi-polarness helping her change her heart. She was more than just down in the dumps, her heart seemed heavier than normal. She was not about to tell Scorpion the thoughts that had crossed her mind a few times -- suicide was nothing new to the dame. She had contemplated it before, but now she had more to live for, and more to lose.
Another sigh left her body, seeming to be the only noise that she was able to make. Still no words were able to be found, she was rather speechless. Her heart was hammering in her chest, her toes nearly frozen at this point. She didn't know what to do, she felt so lost and so utterly alone. Even with Scorpion pressed against her back -- which was doing nothing to calm her heat-driven emotions -- she still felt as if she were the only soul on the planet. Her children had left, her only babies that had come from her own womb. They were gone, missing. "I want our babies back." She whispered suddenly, lower lip trembling as tears welled in her purple eyes. She wanted to hold Mercy and Revenge and tell them that everything was right in the world. She wanted to teach them how to hunt and show them to their family, but not even a trace of them remained. A single sob wracked her body, head now hanging as she fought to hold back the tears. It didn't last long, and soon her body was shaking at the force of them. Her cries echoed out along the span of the lake, the whole front of her body shaking until it could no longer support her. Slipping, her body fell to the earth, the lake claiming her limbs and a touch of her chest. The cold did nothing to shock her out of this state, salty tears mingling with the fresh water.
