He just looked at it! With obvious alarm to the child the grasshopper would start to hop off free of its earlier cage. With a worried ?eep!? Psalm would jump after the tiny bug, how?d he let it get away?! "Back! Eat!" From his tony chest a growl would form ominously, Dx his jaws clamping on the hopper to give back to Dutiron, showing once again that he could indeed catch the hopper. The look of disappointment on his face was apparent. Why had he let the bug go. Though the flavor of the insect had now flooded his mouth, he could no longer give away his catch, he?d eaten in. "You? Eat?" He?d mumble softly as he nommed the rest of the gift he?d intended for great grandfather. Eyes would well up with tears at the mistake. Even the taste of the hopper could not appease his puppy guilt. Dark ears would lower to his skull as his tail dropped to his ankles. He was so sorry. |
