There would be no immediate answer to Psalm's catch though with a short cry the child would leap forth once more after the bug, succeeding in securing it once more and answering the question. The purpose of the bug apparently wasn't to demonstrate his skills at catching things however but instead as a meal or light snack. Bugs were not something that Dutiron had ever aspired to eating however, even as a child their flavour was not one he would purposefully seek and certainly didn't wish to now. He would have hid the shock and dislike however for his great grandson only the insect had gone now. Not hopped away but eaten by Psalm.
Apparently the pup didn't mind the taste, the gift was obviously a rather thoughtful one then in that sense though now the child seemed rather upset. A gentle nudge and warm smile would be cast the boy's way to show that there were certainly no hard feelings. "Thank you, but I wasn't hungry anyway." Dutiron would explain, hoping that Psalm would let the guilt slide away, he certainly wouldn't have been angry with him even if he had been looking forward to the grasshopper. "That was very well caught." He would add some praise as well, it was deserved. After all it was not once but twice that he had caught the grasshopper.
