Bright eyes would take in the plants that were now changing from green to bright flaming colors. He?d never seen fire but he loved the changing on the leaves. Excited he?d continue down the trail that led from his parents den, he?d realized they didn?t get upset unless he left the territory. Momma had been teaching him how to identify different scents, most recently the border territories. He knew the smell of Threar, he knew the small of rogue lands, and sloly he was learning his family member?s scents.
With head held high and confidently small mismatched paws would carry him forward on the brushy path. He?d continue on, his eyes finally falling on the form of another wolf. He?d stop short, eyes growing wide as his smile would also widen excitedly. He?d squeal and rush forward, he?d rub against the other wolf?s leg affectionately. ?Who?? he?d ask eagerly, as he twined the boy?s legs looking up eagerly.
