His words were like an icy knife to the heart. Akemi felt frozen, staring at him with her good eye for a long moment before help would arrive. Freyr. His words would rumble from his chest, deep and louder than it normally would have been. But his words were as they needed to be; and Akemi would feel relief knowing he was here. Gaze would meet with his, giving a whine. "Freyr... no... we shouldn't..." Why was she hesitating? Was it purely pride? The desire that only her family deal with this damned bastard? Or was it something more? She was worried of what might happen... fearful. What had happened to her? Had this male shaken her so? But she would back away, head turning to the massive male, wondering. Would he attack? Would he start problems with Secretua by trying to go for her brother? For her? For the children? Akemi would bristle her fur, trying to hide her doubt as she narrowed her eye. "Just... just leave us alone." She would let out her own growl at the white and black male. He couldn't be so foolish to try and spill blood here... right?
