Skah Adeyemi
He tried to force himself to stop shifting but found himself restless and tense despite her easy agreement to his terms of his departure. He couldn't speak, worry clouding his mind and choking his tongue so he simply forced himself to nod curtly to her response. He wanted to believe she was capable of looking out for herself, but at the same time a dark pit was opening in the bottom of his stomach even as she spoke. She would detail out her plans, give him specific instructions as he nodded along with them and filed them away for future referance. A scouting mission then, not one for direct contact. She would say that there would be no violence and Skah would lower his head slowly and sigh. That might make things harder. He had no desire to fight but what if he was discovered and they started one? he would have to deal with it as it came, no doubt about that. "A ni ẹtan?" He tried to make a joke, keep it light hearted but deep baritone of a voice was not made for joking and it came out kind of somber. Before he blew out another sigh and lifted his head to look around slowly.
He would sigh again and shake his head slowly, chuckling lightly as she thanked him. She really didn't have to, this was his job after all. She was his everything, he lived and breathed for her and one day he would die for her. "Awọn oniwe- iṣẹ mi Akia. Ko si ṣeun ti nilo."He would say softly, tipping his head in show of thanks anyways to her comment. He knew he shouldn't brush it off so nonchalantly but it was hard to take a thank you seriously when it was in fact his job. She would carry on, speaking of the northern wolves possibly spilling into their lands and maybe even claiming them. His gaze would flash wide, a moment of shock before he would attempt to smooth his features again. "Wọn ti wa ni ko kaabo lori awọn oriṣa ile ile." His voice was a soft growl before he would tip his head back and howl long and smooth would drift from his lips, calling for Shai. He needed his brother here before any reach decisions were made. "Yoo ti o lọ si awọn ?gba bayi tabi duro fun mi pada? Bawo ni o gun le duro?" He would ask as his song drifted away. Hopefully Shai was near enough to hear his call?
