A low growl would emerge from his throat as she took hold of his jaw, pulling at the flesh as he fell. But his effort to grab her, though not where he wanted to, was successful. His teeth would sink into the lower right of her neck, her grip loosening from her paw as she let go of his face and repositioned to the top of his muzzle. He could swear he heard bone crunching under the pressure, but it must have just been the cracking of blood coming from the wounds. Her move was very successful.

She held her right shoulder to him, pushing against his weight coming up. He was able to pull his left paw up to a flat surface rather than having his knee to the ground. He was now on all fours, but the pressure of both their strength was almost even. He would release his grip on the scruff of her neck and aim for a strong bite around the top of her right forelimb, hoping the pain was enough to have her quit. But he knew if he pulled forward and she did not release, the grip she had on his muzzle would definitely be enough to rip his own skin and he would be the one to let go. This was it, who would give up first?
