Twisted Turns of Fate

Just when Aeolus thought he had a father he had been left alone, same as what his adopted mother had done to him. Every time he thought he had found a permadent home, but his dreams and thoughts were crushed when it could not be so. His heterochromatic optics shifted in the thicket. He had been alone and walked effortlessly through the thicket. Every time he walked, he would step on branches as they snapped beneath his weight even though he had grown he was still a pup. So far he had lived most of his life alone.
His thoughts would be interrupted as heavy paw prints could be heard behind him. His eyes widened as a bear approached him, claws extended about ready to strike him. Aeolus ran out of the way and quickly hid in a crack of a tree trunk. It growled angrily and tried to break into the trunk to reach him as Aeolus howled a puppy howl and cowered in worry as the bear was close to breaking the trunk. True terror began to overwhelm the small rogue pup.
