Daegmar's words didn't bring a sense of disgust to the viking - how could they, when the viking culture had made its wealth in the trade of slaves rather than gold taken in raids? It wasn't even unusual for the slaves taken to have experience in healing. She dipped her head approvingly at the gray warrior. "You took a risk in doing this," she noted. "My previous alpha would not likely have approved of your methods of acquiring a healer." She had often had to scale back her actions when she'd joined Ebony, and even after she'd become alpha of Ebony and needed to preserve it's culture for the children. She did not blame the Xanilovs for such - it had been her choice to do so. But still it felt good to move past that. "I am pleased you have taken the initiative in this, Daegmar. I doubt not that he will be put to good use in our pack." She turned her attention to the newly-taken thrall and her voice turned cool and remote. "Go tend to your wounds, thrall. You will be given your expectations and boundaries shortly - for now you will be restricted to our territory in the gorge and you will follow ever command given you by Daegmar." She shifted her attention to Daegmar and nodded once more. "You've done well here, Daegmar."
