She needed an escape, somewhere to go and just be alone for a moment. Returning to pack life was not as easy as she thought it would be. She was so used to being alone, to keeping only herself for company. Never needing to speak, or rely on anyone but herself. Now her actions would affect the pack, now everything she did had to benefit the pack. She had problem with that, but it also meant she had to start trusting others. That there was her problem. The earthen toned girl slowly made her way down to the beach. Toes spread to get a better grip on the loose sand. The sound of the waves breaking on the shore was peaceful, gentle and reassuring. She was jerked from her thoughts at a squawk from above. Pale green orbs lifted, fixating on a seagull.
The young girl watched the bird, tracking it, studying it. Bird hunting was her specialty, and she was no stranger to seagulls. The bird seemed to be curious of her, not knowing that soon it would end up in her jaws. Sitting down, she remained still like a tight coil, ready to spring up. Soon, all she had to do was wait for the right moment. Just a little closer, her haunches suddenly propelled her into the air. Forelegs stretched up infront of her, jaws wide open. For a moment she felt like she was light a bird, lifting up into the air to take flight. Jaws crushed down around the bird's neck, quickly killing it. She twisted her body in the air in her descent, paws positioned to land. A grunt was emitted as her body made contact with the land. Shaking herself out she looked around before placing the seagull down on the ground and laying down. This was a good day, something to remember. Not many days were so relaxing and good, but everytime they came by she relished them.
