He'd missed her so much! It felt like ages since he'd last seen her. Maybe it had to do with him almost dying, but it felt amazing to be near her again. Speaking of, hadn't Daegmar promised to take him to Esti? Maybe she'd forgotten or something. Oh well, it didn't matter now. He found her all by himself. Esti pushed into his chest and Laufey dropped his head to rest it on her crown. A contented sigh left his lips. His family was alive and well. Most of them, anyway, but now wasn't the time to tell Esti about their mother. Now was the time for celebrating and he wanted it to last. "What's up?" she asked, and Laufey, feeling comedic, retorted, "The sky." "Speech" |
