Out of the corner of his eye, Nemesis saw his brother get hit. He gasped, unable to contain the sound. "Phaes!" The other Olympian recovered quickly and while his fear wasn't easily overcome, Nemesis chose not to abandon the hunt either. Instead he surged forward, intent on backing up his siblings as they brought down the target. He sunk his fangs into the calf's leg once more, this time releasing immediately so that he wasn't jarred as much as the first time. The moment his balance was restored, the boy was bounding forward once more to slash at the bison's leg. The process repeated itself over and over until the young Olympian was dripping with blood and the calf, growing weak, began to slow. Sensing the change in the creature, Laufey abandoned the limb and sped up, aiming to tear into the calf's belly. "Speaking" Thinking |
