Arian's plea dragged Katja to an unwilling halt and the Yfir alpha paused, turning merely her head to the side to indicate that she would listen. The woman explained that she was formerly of Olympus - that it had been her uncle who sired Virgil's second litter, and Katja fleetingly considered that she might be facing this unknown, this Syrinx, as well as Virgil over the pups but set the thought aside. If he appeared, so be it, but she would not waste time worrying over it. His family could not be that close to the pups if the Olympians had not even bothered to inform them of the pups' captivity. "All of Virgil's pups have been retained in Yfir," she said shortly. "Your cousins have chosen to apprentice to be warriors and are both healthy and safe." Seeing no reason to stay and explain any further now that the basics were out of the way - figuring that the Olympians could give their version of events as easily as she could and she didn't mind wasting their time with it instead of her own - she resumed her path. -exit Katja fer realz- |
