Blood runs thick

The man watched with mild interest as the large mammals splashed about in the cove, their squeaking echoing across both the water and the sand. The turning of the season had driven the porpoises from the colder climate up north to the warmth of the cove? at least for now. They would be moving on before long, but for now the warmer water here was a veritable paradise and dolphins of all types seemed to frolic in the water. Istaqa leaned back, the soft sand under her paws shifting ever so slightly.
He kept some distance from the shore, his presences just barely on the radar of the aquatic mammals. Not that he was much of a threat anyways, still it felt almost wrong to intrude.
